Summary 2
Since my next chapters will focus
on Spike's involvement with Wolfram & Hart and with Angel's group
in Los Angeles, I figured it would
be useful to summarize the important points of the brooding vampire's past
years.
Without further ado...
For Part 4
Wolfram and Hart:
A law firm dealing with occult and supernatural phenomenons, with a particular
agenda
with the souled vampire Angel,
whom they consider a key player in the Apocalypse. The ressources available
to W&H are enormous, including
psychics, clairvoyants, mind-readers, millitary forces, translators, a
human archive
and access to ancient and powerful
spells.
Also, endless chapters of W&H
exist throughout the world, and even in other dimensions. Several layers
exist
within W&H. The one we see
most often are the humans. Corrupt humans with barely any conscience.
Besides that, the heart of W&H
lies in the Senior Partners, supernatural beings (demons maybe) who are
the driving forces behind W&H
and whose intentions still remain unknown. They started the gears of
Angel's descent into darkness by
ressurecting Darla.
The Lawyers
Linwood:
Head of the Special Divisions Project, who succeeded to Holland Manners
after he was killed
by the vampires Darla and Drusilla.
He is devoted to W&H, his family being what was stripped from him
when the Senior Partners requested
his services.
While there's no doubt that he shares
his predecessor's lack of concern towards living beings, his loyalty and
his
readiness to do what's necessary
to complete the tasks at hand, he lacks the vision and brilliance of his
predecessor.
Lilah Morgan:
In a firm mainly composed of men, Lilah's presence tells spades about her
personnality and
character. Ruthless, cunning, manipulative,
self-confident...needless to say, she suffers no inferiority
complex towards males. Her ingenuity
and intelligence has made her ANgel's prime adversary in W&H, and
her creativity is akin to that
of Holland Manners. Which explains why she is slowly outclassing Linwood
despite his higher position.
